They put a portable AC in one room that only cooled down the 3 ft around it to 90 degrees. So there we are, stuck moving stuff into our house that had temps about 120 minimum. I then got Bob's company referral from a good Tucson management company I use for some properties there.Long story short, Bob told me his plan of attack and within 6 months turned the place around to almost 100% occupied by actual "normal" renters. In fact, I bought it for 1.2 mill and I even was willing to give it to someone for 900K. At one point in time down to below 50% occupancy with drug dealers, gang members, etc.The so called "elite" broker that sold it to me tried to help turn it around because obviously he wanted to make his commissions but could not. I went through 3 proper management companies touting they were great blah blah blah and they could turn things around, etc.Being that the property was a B class in a C+ neighborhood at best, it went down fast with bad management. I'm a Dental professional in California and bought a 30 unit Phoenix property in 2014 100% occupied (nice building) and then the nightmare started.
